Army~!
Let’s make a cute Army Bomb keychain.

Materials
- White, grey, and black yarn (for Army Bomb)
– Milk Cotton Series by Cotton House Store - Bead (for nub) (optional)
- White or grey felt (for logo)
- Crochet hook size C/3
- Darning needle
- Polyester fiberfill
Abbreviations
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
hdc = half double crochet
inc = increase
dec = decrease
sl st = slip stitch
st(s) = stitch(es)
This pattern starts working from the bottom handle and all the way up to the white bomb. The entire body is done in one single piece. Colour change is done along the way.

Army Bomb
Start with grey yarn.
Round 1: Sc 6 in a magic ring. [6 sts]
Round 2: Inc around. [12 sts]
Round 3: (Sc 1, inc) *6 [18 sts]
Change to black yarn.
Round 1: *work in back loop only* (Sc 7, dec) *2 [16 sts]
Round 2-9: Sc around. [16 sts]
Round 10: (Sc 3, inc) *5 [20 sts]
Round 11: (Sc 4, inc) *4 [24 sts]
Round 12: (Sc 2, inc) *8 [32 sts]
Begin stuffing the handle.
Change to white yarn.
Round 1: (Sc 7, inc) *4 [36 sts]
Round 2: (Sc 8, inc) *4 [40 sts]
Round 3: (Sc 9, inc) *4 [44 sts]
Round 4-10: Sc around. [44 sts]
Round 11: (Sc 9, dec) *4 [40 sts]
Round 12: (Sc 8, dec) *4 [36 sts]
Round 13: (Sc 7, dec) *4 [32 sts]
Round 14: (Sc 6, dec) *4 [28 sts]
Round 15: (Sc 5, dec) *4 [24 sts]
Round 16: (Sc 4, dec) *4 [20 sts]
Begin stuffing.
Round 17: (Sc 3, dec) *4 [16 sts]
Round 18: Dec around. [8 sts]
Fasten off. Sew the remaining hole closed and weave in ends.
Hat
Use black yarn.
Round 1: Sc 6 in a magic ring. [6 sts]
Round 2: Inc around. [12 sts]
Round 3: (Sc 1, inc) *6 [18 sts]
Round 4: *work in back loop only* Sc around. [18 sts]
Fasten off and leave long tail for sewing.
Sew the hat to the top of the army bomb, slightly down towards the right.
I didn’t want the nub to stick out too much later so I created a slight dent in the middle of the hat while sewing.
I used purple bead for the nub. Alternatively, you can crochet using yarn as follows:
Little Nub
Round 1: Sc 4 in a magic ring. [4 sts]
Fasten off and sew the nub to the centre of the hat.
Use white or grey felt to cut out the logo. Tada! That’s all for the Army Bomb.
